Texas Public Lands Wetlands Initiative Phases I, II, III

Summary

This project will provide a significant amount of important habitat on many of the state wildlife management areas (WMAs) and two national wildlife refuges (NWRs) on the upper Texas coast.  The project is designed to help meet the many state, federal, and private initiatives to restore, enhance, and create significant amounts of freshwater wetland and native prairie habitat on the Texas coast.
