Summary

The easement area consists primarily of agricultural lands, open space, and wildlife habitat.  By preserving the land in its predominately agricultural, scenic and open space condition and by protecting the natural resource and watershed values, biodiversity, agricultural values and relatively natural and high quality habitat for wildlife, animals and migratory birds the uses of the property will preserve natural, scenic and open space in the Texas coastal plain, including farmland, productive rangeland, and migratory wildlife habitat, which provides significant public benefits and has significant agricultural and conservation values.
