Summary

Conduct an upland sand source assessment feasibility study to determine the viability and availability of potential upland sand sources located on Galveston Island that may be utilized on future coastal restoration projects. Project to include data collection, including a background investigation on existing pertinent information, a mapping component to locate potential sand sources, a property records search to determine ownership, analysis of potential restraints, permitting and compliance issues. Deliverables to include a presentation on findings to local elected officials and a summary technical report.
