Commissioner Buckingham Encourages Texans to Adopt a Veteran From Texas State Veteran Homes’ Angel Trees This Christmas

AUSTIN, Texas— Today, Texas Land Commissioner and Veterans Land Board (VLB) Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., is encouraging Texans to adopt a Veteran this holiday season by participating in Angel Tree donations at several Texas State Veterans Homes (TSVH). Each year, VLB’s Veterans homes display an Angel Tree for Veterans to share their Christmas lists with their community. Those who are interested in participating can visit one of the Veterans homes listed below, select an angel off the tree, and provide the Veteran’s gift by the specified dates.
