Bush announced more than 10,000 homes have received repairs through the Partial Repair and Essential Power for Sheltering (PREPS) Program in coordination with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The program is designed to help homeowners whose home received less than $17,000 in FEMA verified loss resulting from Hurricane Harvey. GLO awards $35.8 million for long-term recovery projects from 2015 floods allocation

Bush is pleased to announce more than $35.8 million in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds have been awarded for 38 locally identified infrastructure and housing projects in 23 communities impacted by the 2015 flooding events.
