Hurricane Harvey survivors living in temporary housing unit should make a plan to rent or buy

Hurricane Harvey survivors living in temporary housing units (THUs) provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Texas General Land Office (GLO) need to solidify their housing plans leading up to Feb. 25. Those who continue to meet FEMA eligibility requirements may be approved to remain in their current THU through Aug. 25 by paying rent. Unaccompanied Veteran Burial to be held at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery

Today, Texas Veterans Land Board Chairman George P. Bush announced that on Monday, January 28th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. SHARP, the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas will conduct an Unaccompanied Veteran burial for Joseph Walker, a United States Air Force Veteran. The Ussery Roan Texas State Veterans Home has been able to purchase a Snoezelen machine to assist residents in therapeutic relaxation.
